కురిసే కురిసే … A Telugu Poem with English Translation

Here is another small attempt by me :)

This poem is written primarily in Telugu . Loosely translated to English and transliteration from Telugu is also available if you want to understand the rhythm.

కురిసే కురిసే చిరుజల్లే కురిసే … [Kurise kurise chirujalle kurise]

(Drizzled , drizzled, the light rain drizzled)

మురిసే మురిసే హరివిల్లై మురిసే …[Murise Murise Harivillai Murise]

(Delighted, delighted, like a joyful rainbow)

సెలయేటి నీరే పరవళ్లు తొక్కే … [Selayeti neere paravallu thokke]

(The streams from the cascade gushed and ushered )

ఆ గోపురపు పక్షులే రెక్కలొచ్చి ఎగిరే …[Aa gopurapu pakshule rekkalocchi egire]

(The birds of the gopuram [large pyramidal tower of the temple] acquired their wings and flew)

తామరాకులాంటి నీ దోసిలి లోగిలి లో , ఓ నీటిబిందువు వోలె నాప్రాణం మొత్తం ఒదిగిపోయెనే … [Thamaraku lanti nee dosili logili lo o neetibinduvu vole naa pranam mothham odigipoyene]

(Like a droplet pleasantly settled on a lotus petal, my whole life has been succumbed into the warmth of your palms)
